
The hard-working Phillip George slaved away most of the day writing a somewhat out-of-control article about settings of Emily Dickinson for the truant October 2008 issue of 21st-Century Music. Meanwhile, I was able to bang out a couple more pages (three, actually) of orchestration for Samson and Delilah: I. Digits (through page 7 now). Harriet off in San Francisco mid-day meeting with Megan Cullen and Michael and Stephanie Desnoyers, and, upon her return, we lay plans for the end of the year and beyond.
